The BIS (Business Intelligence Service) is the Sayco in-house intelligence unit, which work is oriented to provide the Firm, its clients and scholars with valuable strategic information, useful to develop effective strategic planning and decisions making process enhancement, as well as additional ad hoc research facilities to business management science's researchers and scholars fron the European Business School (Cambridge UK).
Through research and product development on business management, economics and finance sciences, the BIS’ work aims basically to achieve the following goals:
This service unit includes a team of full time in-house researchers and special purposes external researchers; projects assignment to different researchers’ teams refer to: (a) Time required to develop the project (short or long term research period); (b) Nature of project (methodology development, crossroads decision making information, etc.); and (c) Final user of the product (in-house department, corporate or occasional client).
Additionaly, the BIS is responsible of publishing the Business Intelligence Journal in collaboration with the Management Science's staff of the European Business School (Cambridge UK).
